    The Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights won their showdown for first place in Division I of the Center State Conference when they defeated Little Falls Mounties 4-1 at R.D.’s Gorge View Lanes Tuesday.
    The Maroon Knights (11-3, 7-1 CSC-I) outpinned the Mounties (11-3, 6-2 CSC-I) 2,810-2,769 and defeated Little Falls for the second time this season. They trailed by one pin entering the final game and took it by a 963-921 score. Little Falls maintained steady scoring throughout the match in its home alley with games of 913, 935 and 921. The Mounties had won the first game by 51 pins then lost the second by 50 when Frankfort-Schuyler surged from 862 to 985.
    Shawn Welch threw a 278 in the second game for Frankfort-Schuyler and finished with a 589 series. The second game was the lowest of the day for Levi Dousharm who topped the Maroon Knights with a 617 series that included a 212 opening game and a 228 third. Mike Maury had a 585 series with a high of 228 and Pat Doolen threw a 212 in the third game to complete a 562 series.
    Andy Chlus had a 631 series and Devin Dawley added a 625 for Little Falls. Chlus threw games of 224 and 213 while Dawley had a 218 and a 222. Andrew Sammons added a 552 series with a high of 201.
    ILION 5, HERKIMER 0
    ILION, N.Y. — Jimmy Allen and Kyle Kozenewski both topped the 600 mark for Ilion Tuesday in the Golden Bombers’ 5-0 win over the Herkimer Magicians at the State Bowling Center.
    Allen’s 641 series included a 245 third game while Kozenewski peaked at 247 in the second and finished with a 601.
    Sean Gallagher threw a 502 series with a high of 188 for Herkimer and Antonio Mora had a 190 opening game.
