  • Dolgeville school board organizes for new year

  • Karen Nagle will serve a third term as president of the Dolgeville Central School Board of Education during the 2012 - 2013 school year.

    Nagle was re-elected to the post during the board’s annual organizational meeting on Wednesday.

    Robert Maxwell was also elected to serve a third term as vice president during the meeting.

    Appointments and designations approved Wednesday included Sandra Allen as district clerk, extracurricular fund treasurer and records access officer; school Superintendent Christine Reynolds as deputy clerk, purchasing agent, hearing officer for the free and reduced lunch program and payroll certification officer; Donna Ploss as district treasurer; Sara Martyniuk as deputy district treasurer; M&T Bank and Herkimer County as tax collectors; the tellers of M&T Bank as deputy tax collectors; Dr. Richard Brown as school physician; M&T Bank, Fleet, Chase, Adirondack Bank, Central National Bank, Citizens Bank and U.S. Bank as official depositories and The Times as official newspaper.
    Other appointments included Paula Mosher as Census enumerator and attendance officer; Debra Marshall as attendance officer; district Business Administrator John McKeown as purchasing agent, records management officer, investment officer and faculty auditor for extraclassroom accounts; Michelle Primeau as verification and review officer for the free and reduced lunch program, Medicaid compliance officer, Title IX coordinator and 504 coordinator; Daniel Guenthner as Title IX coordinator and district data coordinator; William VanGorder, of the Mang Insurance Agency, as insurance consultant; the Oneida-Madison BOCES Safety Service as asbestos inspection and management officials and lead inspection officials; Jacquelene Hill as internal claims auditor; district Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds Michael Catalina as integrated pest management coordinator and asbestos abatement LEA designee; Laura Eysaman as Dignity Act coordinator for grades 9-12; Mirella Pazzaglia as Dignity Act coordinator for grades 5-8 and Alexis Palumbo as Dignity Act coordinator for grades K-4. Additionally, Nagle, Maxwell and Diana Ayers-Darling were named to the board’s audit and charter review committee and Maxwell as named as the district’s School Board Institute representative.
    Other desginations made Wednesday night included the establishment of the third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. as the board of education’s regular meeting date and time.
