  • An Ilion woman faces charges after she allegedly grabbed a man in a sexual manner at a West Utica playground, Utica police said.
Officer Sean Bubnis arrested Diane Yamano, 44, of Ward Street, and charged her with forcible touching, exposure of a person and resisting arrest, police said.
At 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, Bubnis was dispatched to Lincoln Playground regarding an argument. When he arrived, he spoke to a 19-year-old man who told him that a woman walked up to him, put her arms around him and then squeezed his buttocks in a sexual manner, police said.
This victim said he never met the suspect before and wanted her arrested.
He then pointed her out to police.
As the officer walked toward Yamano, she stood up and removed her shirt and pulled up her sports bra, exposing her breasts, police said.
Then when officer Bubnis attempted to place Yamano in custody, he said she resisted arrest.
