  • Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will give a free public lecture at Hamilton College on Friday, Oct. 4.
    The speech will be presented at 6:30 p.m. in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House, a news release stated.
    Clinton most recently served as secretary of state from January 2009 until February 2013. But she is also a former first lady, a former senator for New York, and a former presidential candidate.Her visit will be part of the Sacerdote Great Names Series, the release stated.
    Clinton will be the fourth former secretary of state to speak as part of the Sacerdote Series, following Colin Powell, Madeleine Albright and Condoleezza Rice, the release stated. Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, also spoke at the college as part of the same series in 2004.
