In men's soccer yesterday, the biggest shocker of the tournament was Spain losing to Japan. Olympic men's teams are for players 23 and younger (with a few older players allowed), so this isn't the same Spanish team that recently won the European Championships, but Spain was expected to win nevertheless. Hosts Great Britain played to a tie against Senegal, and Brazil won against Egypt. Each team plays three games in the first round of Olympic soccer.
