  • A Little Falls man suffered a fractured skull and broken jaw in a motor vehicle accident in which the driver was charged with driving while intoxicated Friday night, state police said.



    Passenger Raymond Dean, 21, was airlifted by Life-Net to Albany Medical Center following the 6:40 p.m. accident, police said.

  • A Little Falls man suffered a fractured skull and broken jaw in a motor vehicle accident in which the driver was charged with driving while intoxicated Friday night, state police said.
    Passenger Raymond Dean, 21, was airlifted by Life-Net to Albany Medical Center following the 6:40 p.m. accident, police said.
    Driver Shawn Jenison, 25, of Second Avenue, Herkimer, was southbound on Platform Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to strike an embankment and roll over before landing upright, police said.
    Another passenger in the vehicle, 28-year-old Jeremy Lamphere, of Palantine Bridge, was not injured, police said.
    Jenison, who was charged with DWI and unsafe speed, was taken by Kuyohoora Ambulance to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, where he was being treated for face and arm lacerations, police said.
