    Racing pigeons are gaining in popularity in China, and the sport is not cheap. According to Neatorama.com, Chinese breeder Yango Shibo says the price of such pigeons are soaring. In fact, he paid more than $1,000 for a German pigeon in 2001, and its descendants have earned him around $150,000 in prize money. According to the article, the highest price paid for a pigeon in China is $328,000.

    According to TechCrunch.com, Verizon CFO Fran Shammo said to an investor conference earlier today that those who want to join their 4G network will soon have to give up their unlimited data plans offered for 3G phones. Instead, Verizon wants you to sign up for a "data share plan," where all devices on one account would share a data plan. No word yet as to how much the new plan might cost or what is in store for those who only have one device on their account.
