The Valley Support Fund will be overseen by the Unmet Needs Committee and will be used to “best meet the needs of the victims and others affected by this recent tragedy,” a news release stated.
Donations are being accepted from now through April 21 and can be made in a variety of ways:
• A $10 donation can be made by texting “UNITED” to 52000, and will be charged to your phone bill.
• Donations also can be sent by check, made payable to the United Way c/o Valley Support Fund, and mailed to the United Way at 401 E. German St., Herkimer, NY, 13350
• To donate via credit card, call 733-4691.
