  • Eleanor Pawluk, 93, of Little Falls, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at her residence.

  • Eleanor Pawluk, 93, of Little Falls, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at her residence.
    She was born on February 14, 1920, in Mohawk, NY, the daughter of the late Jay and Esther May (Ottman) Brown. She was educated in Little Falls schools.
    She was united in marriage to her husband of 40 years, Edward Pawluk, on September 22, 1940, in Little Falls. Mr. Pawluk predeceased her on March 11, 1980. Mrs. Pawluk was a member Auskerada, Maquaes, Rock City Chapter #204 OES and served as Matron of the  Rock City Chapter #272, Little Falls, in 1958.
    She is survived by her son, Gary Pawluk (Mary Lynn), West Babylon, NY; her daughter, Patricia Carey (Michael), Loudonville, NY; her brother, Melvin Brown (Donna), Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren, Michael Pawluk, Bethany Crowley (John), Pamela Pannacciulli (Frank), Matthew Carey, Colleen Luther (Kyle) and Megan Carey; a great-granddaughter, Lila Pannacciulli; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers, Gordon J., Maynard H., Evan, Giles, Adelbert, Walter J. and Stanley W. Brown; and four sisters, Inez Brown, Dorothea King, Elizabeth Davies and Herberta Bucenec.
    Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls.
    Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. In keeping with Eleanor's last wishes, there are no calling hours.
