Her marriage to Harold R. Lacek took place on Oct. 30, 1953, in St. Joseph’s Church Dolgeville. This past October, they celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Annabelle was a teller at the former Oneida National Bank and Fleet Bank in Dolgeville for many years, and was well known in the community. She retired from there in 1993. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Dolgeville, and she personally enjoyed sewing and camping with her family throughout the years.
Annabelle is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Harold; her sons and daughters-in-laws, Michael and Gloria Lacek, of Wellesley, Mass., and John and Gail Lacek, of Macedon, and her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Mike Shea, of Fairport; her grandchildren, Andrew, John and Graham Lacek and Ryan and Kathryn Shea; her brothers and their wives, Edward and Sandra Ortlieb and Richard and Monica Ortlieb, both of Dolgeville, their families; and her nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff of Bassett Healthcare for their loving and compassionate care and support.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, followed by burial at the Salisbury Rural Cemetery in Salisbury.
