    Jared Suderley and Kyle Bradley each scored 20 points for Hartwick College Sunday in the Hawks’ 94-61 rout of Wells College.
    The Hawks (2-2) scored the first 10 points of the game and led 50-25 at halftime. The largest lead was 37 points.
    Suderley, a junior from Newport, had nine rebounds and hit 10 of his 17 shots from the field. Bradley had eight rebounds and six assists. Aaron Laing shot 6-for-7 and added 12 points while Anthony Keane scored 11.
    Jordan Bishop and Jonathan Bonds each scored 10 points for Wells (2-2).
    The Hawks travel across town Wednesday for a game against SUNY-Oneonta.
    NEW YORK UNIVERSITY 69, HAMILTON COLLEGE 58
    CLINTON, N.Y. — The New York University Violets scored the first six points Sunday and never trailed on the way to a 69-58 win over the host school in the championship game at Hamilton College’s Thanksgiving Tournament.
    Hamilton (2-2) played catchup and got within one point twice in the first half.
    Tournament most valuable player Carl Yaffe scored 22 points to lead the undefeated Violets (4-0). Max Wein added 10 points and nine rebounds while Devin Karch scored 15 points and earned a spot on the tournament’s all-star team.
    Bradley Gifford led Hamilton with 13 points and seven rebounds.
    Gifford, teammate Greg Newton and Union College’s Joe Mason and Keven Donohue were tournament all-stars.
    Hamilton is home again Thursday to play its next game against Keystone College.
    UNION COLLEGE 86, UTICA COLLEGE 69
    CLINTON, N.Y. — Joe Mason scored 25 points Sunday and led the Union College Dutchmen to an 86-69 win over Utica College’s Pioneers in the consolation game at Hamilton College’s Thanksgiving Tournament.
    The Dutchmen (2-1) led by as many as 16 points before halftime and Utica (1-3) never got closer than eight after that. Keven Donohue added 13 points, 11 rebounds and three steals while Evan Croll (12 points) and Terrell Winney (11) both scored in double digits.
    Chris Jeffers had eight points and 10 rebounds for the Pioneers while Aaron Nevins and Connor Maisch shared the scoring lead with 14 points. Former Herkimer County Community College General Matt Baldwin scored 10 points.
    Union plays at home Wednesday against SUNYIT. Utica plays at SUNY-Canton Wednesday.
    HAMILTON COLLEGE 73, UNION COLLEGE 67
    CLINTON, N.Y. — Greg Newton scored 19 points Saturday in Hamilton College’s 73-67 win over the Union College Dutchmen in the first round of Hamilton’s Thanksgiving Tournament.
    The Continentals led by 10 points at halftime and let Union get as close as four in the second half. The Hamilton lead was 66-54 with 1:15 left to play before three layups and a pair of steals cut the margin in half in 26 seconds.
    Page 2 of 2 - Matt Hart, Ken Click and Bradley Gifford scored 13, 12 and 11 points, respectively, for the Continentals.
    Keven Donohue had 25 points and eight rebounds for Union.
    NEW YORK UNIVERSITY 78, UTICA COLLEGE 57
    CLINTON, N.Y. — New York University scored the first eight points of the second half Saturday and ran away with a 78-57 win against the Utica College Pioneers at Hamilton College’s Thanksgiving Tournament.
    The Violets had led by four points at halftime. They later made a 26-7 run to put the game out of reach.
    Carl Yaffe led New York with 14 points and nine rebounds. Devin Karch added 13 points.
    Chris Jeffers had 13 points and seven rebounds for Utica which turned the ball over 21 times.
