  • A New Hartford man was arrested on Sept. 15 after Mohawk police received a report of a male prowling in the area of Marshall Avenue, near Burns Avenue, at about 11:32 p.m.

  • A New Hartford man was arrested on Sept. 15 after Mohawk police received a report of a male prowling in the area of Marshall Avenue, near Burns Avenue, at about 11:32 p.m.
    Police said Thomas R. O’Toole, no age give, was found to be in the attached garage of a house laying underneath the homeowner’s vehicle which was parked in the closed garage.
    Police said O’Toole was arrested for third-degree burglary, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and for violating Section No. 3345 of the Public Health Law for not having prescription drugs in their original container. O’Toole was remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secured bond, police said.
    The Herkimer Police Department and the New York State Police assisted with the case.
