    The Dolgeville/Oppenheim-Ephratah Blue Devils played from behind Monday and took the lead in the seventh inning as they defeated Remsen 6-5.

    The Dolgeville/Oppenheim-Ephratah Blue Devils played from behind Monday and took the lead in the seventh inning as they defeated Remsen 6-5.
    The Blue Devils had taken their first lead an inning earlier but Remsen tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, Alex Johnson scored on a wild pitch in the top of the seventh and Jesse Warner capped a complete game with a scoreless bottom of the seventh to close out the victory.
    Remsen led 3-0 early in the game and was still up 3-2 eantering the sixth inning. Dolgeville/Oppenheim-Ephratah went ahead 5-3 on a two-run single by Dakota Walrath.
    Warner struck out eight batters, walked five and allowed eight hits. he also contributed two hits and two runs batted in at the plate.

    LITTLE FALLS 9, CANASTOTA 3
    CANASTOTA, N.Y. — Mountie Mitchell Baumeister pitched five innings for a win in his first varsity start Monday as Little Falls defeated the Canastota Raiders 9-3 on the road.
    Baumeister struck out three batters, walked none and allowed one earned run on five hits. Zach McLaughlin pitched the final two innings in relief.
    Theo Wind had three hits, three runs batted in and two runs scored for the Mounties. Josh Martin, Mike Stehnach, Tyler Baumeister and McLaughlin each chipped in with two hits and McLaughlin drove in two runs.
    Kyle Sanford and Garrett Lesher had two hits for Canastota. Lesher, the starting pitcher, also had an RBI.

    ST. JOHNSVILLE, N.Y. — Kyle Gibbs struck out 11 St. Johnsville batters over six innings in the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs’ 3-2 win over the Saints.
    The Bulldogs already led 2-1 when Ben Geist tripled in the sixth inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Tim O’Connor. The Saints got the run back in the bottom of the inning when they broke up Gibbs’ no-hit bid but could not tie the game. Geist pitched the seventh inning and recorded a save.
    St. Johnsville’s Dylan Klock pitched a complete game and allowed three hits.

    FRANKFORT, N.Y. — Tyler Porter threw a complete game from the mound and drove in the deciding run Monday in the West Canada Valley Indians’ 3-2 win over the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights.
    Porter went 3-for-4 at the plate. He tripled in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie
    West Canada Valley had scored two runs in the first inning against Frankfort-Schuyler starter Joe DeSarro. The Maroon Knights tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the third.
    Zach Perri hit two doubles for Frankfort-Schuyler.

    WEST WINFIELD, N.Y. — Dylan Bubb got the win for Mohawk Monday as the Mohicans shut Mt. Markham’s Mustangs out 10-0.
    The shutout was Mohawk’s second in five days against the winless Mustangs. Eric Bowes threw a one-hitter at home against Mt. Markham Thursday.
    Paul Joyce, Chance Homa and Jared Marquissee all doubled for Mohawk in the victory.
    ORISKANY 9, ROME CATHOLIC 4
    ROME, N.Y. — Nate Keating had four runs batted in for Oriskany Monday in the Redskins’ 9-4 victory over the Rime Catholic Redwings.
    Leadoff hitter Sam Martel had three hits and scored twice for the Redskins. Pat Manna drove in two runs.
    Antony Pickard went six innings on the mound and struck out 10 Redwings. Austin Smith added two strikeouts in the final inning.
