    The Dolgeville Blue Devils won Thursday’s first six contested bouts and defeated Ilion 45-36.
    Along with a pair of forfeits in each direction, the strong start gave the visiting Blue Devils a commanding 39-12 lead. Ilion wrestlers had pins in three of the final four bouts but were unable to make up the deficit in the team scoring.
    Richard Lyon, Kasey Foster and Austin Burton had pins for Dolgeville in the first three bouts of the day. When the card wound back to the lightweights, Blue Devil Noah Handy scored an 8-6 decision against Tanner Cook, Section III’s third-ranked Division II 99-pounder. Daniel Fox and Ben Nastovski added wins at 113 and 120 pounds.
    Ilion’s first wins came from Andrew Burch and Nolan Callaghan who pinned their opponents back-to-back at 126 and 132 pounds. Sean Jackson added a pin in the final bout at 152.
    Triston Engle notched the final Dolgeville points with his pin in the 145-pound match.
    Dolgeville is entered in the Central New York Tournament this weekend at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School.

    LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — The Oneida Indians trailed 27-17 after forfeiting at 126 pounds Thursday but strung together three consecutive pins and won all but one of the final six bouts in a 46-33 win over the Little Falls Mounties.
    Pins by Skyler Thayer, Zach Walker and A.J. Vargas at 132, 138 and 145 pounds gave Oneida the lead in the team scoring and Matt Fisher clinched the victory with a technical fall at 160. Herman Havener added a pin in the final match at 170 pounds.
    Little Falls took advantage of four forfeits in building its lead midway through the dual. Clayton Rockwell’s 5-3 decision against Brendan Kooyman at 120 pounds represented the lone contested Little Falls win to that point. Sam Casler added six points by pinned Tim Worden in the second period at 152 pounds.

    Albert Amacher and Cody Krull were winners for Poland in the first and last matches of the evening. Amacher pinned Matt Cadwell in 29 seconds at 120 pounds. Krull pinned Matt Borden at 1:38 of the 113-pound bout.
    Poland has a meet at home Tuesday with Herkimer/Sauquoit Valley.

Anthony Luppino, Drew Masi and Nick Noviasky added pins at 138, 152 and 160 pounds and Dan Appley pinned Andrew Lobdell in 27 seconds at 182 to complete the Herkimer/Sauquoit Valley scoring.

    NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — The Mohawk Mohicans closed Thursday’s dual with four consecutive wins and stole a 45-34 victory from the New Hartford Spartans.
    The Mohicans trailed 34-27 with a forfeit waiting at 170 pounds. Tim Rathbun scored a 6-2 decision against Kyle Kuty at 145 points and Ethan Pansa decisioned Tyler Davis 11-6 at 152. The decisions left New Hartford with a one-point lead and six points awaiting the Mohicans. Rich Rinaldi clinched a Mohawk victory by pinning Dan Dabia in 69 seconds.
    Other winners for Mohawk included Zakk Zuranski and Jesse Hendrick who started the dual with back-to-back pins, Stephen Davis with a pin at 285 pounds and C.J Walz who won a 4-3 decision at 99 pounds.
    Three of New Hartford’s six wins came by forfeit.
    Mohawk is competing in Vernon-Verona-Sherrill’s Central New York Tournament this weekend.

    CAMDEN, N.Y. — Adirondack’s lightweights swept the final three bouts Thursday but by then the Camden Blue Devils had already clinched a 46-33 victory.
    Camden won five consecutive bouts in the middle of the dual and clinched its victory when Ian Radell pinned Andrew Tanner in the third period at 285 pounds. Ryan O’Rourke and Brandon Gaylor followed with pins for Adirondack and Derek Spann won a decision in the final match but that was not enough to make up a 28-point deficit.
