  • One dog found, one missing after Frankfort trailer fire

  • One of two dogs home during a trailer fire in Frankfort on Thursday was able to escape the blaze, officials said. The whereabouts of the second dog are still unknown.

    No people were home when a fire at 380 McIntyre Rd. started at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Frankfort Hill Fire Chief Larry Bohling said.

    The first crews on the scene found the trailer fully involved.
    It took about 45 minutes to bring the fire under control, Bohling said.
    The Frankfort Center Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
    Crews remained at the scene Thursday afternoon extinguishing hot spots.
