Dolgeville, N.Y. —
Dolgeville police arrested a Dolgeville man on Aug. 16 at 12:35 a.m. on drunken driving charges on South Main Street.
Allan M. Pomeroy, 30, of 66 N. Main St., was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, felony DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, failure to keep right and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.
Pomeroy was stopped after he was allegedly speeding and found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license due to a previous DWI arrest, police said. Upon investigation, police said Pomeroy was leaving the scene of a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
Pomeroy was sent to Herkimer County jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond.
