Dolgeville, N.Y. —
Dolgeville village police arrested a Dolgeville resident after a domestic dispute on Aug. 9 at 7:05 p.m.
Brian J. Cotton, 30, of 13 Wolf St., was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
Cotton allegedly placed his hands around a woman’s throat and obstructed her breathing, putting her in fear of her life, while children were present, police said.
Cotton was arraigned in Little Falls Town Court and remanded to the Herkimer County jail on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bail bond. He is due in Manheim Town Court on Sept. 19, police said.
