Dolgeville, N.Y. —
A Dolgeville couple has been arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawfully growing cannabis without a license, according to Dolgeville police.
Joseph W. Sackett, 34, and Monica Q. Sackett, 32, both of 40 E. Faville Ave., were arrested at their residence on Aug. 13 at about 12:30 p.m., police said.
A release from the police department stated the Sacketts were found to be growing marijuana at their residence as a result of an anonymous tip supplied to police.
The Sacketts were released on appearance tickets returnable in Manheim Town Court at a later date, police said.
Anyone with information about drug activity within the village is asked to contact the Dolgeville Police Department at 429-8231, the release stated.
