Ilion, N.Y. —
On June 13 Ilion Police arrested Bruce M. Burke, of Second Street, Ilion, on a warrant.
Burke was wanted for an incident that allegedly occurred on May 27 where he allegedly choked a woman and then threatened her with a gun.
During the arrest, police allegedly found marijuana in his front pocket.
Burke has been charged with felony menacing and felony strangulation.
Burke was arraigned in Ilion Village Court and was sent to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility without bail.
