DOLGEVILLE 3, LITTLE FALLS 1

The Dolgeville Blue Devils completed another perfect run through Division II of the Center State Conference Tuesday by beating Little Falls in four games.

The 21-25, 25-9, 25-14, 25-22 victory completed league play for the Blue Devils (11-5, 8-0 CSC-II) who have not lost within the division in two years under the current Center State Conference alignment. They were also unbeaten in their last five years of Division I play and have won 142 of 143 league matches since January of 2001.

Dolgeville has 18 consecutive outright or shared league titles, a streak that started in the Tri-Valley League with the 1995-96 season.

Emily Young had 14 kills, one ace and five digs for Dolgeville; Ashley Mettler had 14 kills, three aces, seven assists and 10 digs; Chelsea Bennett had nine digs and three aces; Mikey Rubas had four aces, three kills, one block and three digs; Emily Briggs had three kills and two digs; Annabelle Lee had two kills, one block, one ace and three digs; Kiersten Manchester had seven digs; Abby Mosenthin had three aces, three kills, two assists and one dig; Rachael Randall had three aces and five digs; Courtney Rachon had two aces and one dig; and Taylor Brandow had one kill and one dig.

Liz Bruins had eight kills and one block for Little Falls (5-10, 3-4 CSC-II); Kaleigh Warn had eight kills, two aces and three digs; Tess Krowicki had six kills, four aces and five digs; Erin Noyes had 13 assists; Diana Torres had nine assists, two aces and one kill; Laura Krowicki had four aces, three kills and three digs; Paige Horender had three kills and seven digs; and Kyrah Jackson served one ace

Dolgeville swept the junior varsity match, winning two games by scores of 25-17 and 25-16. Lindsey Coonradt had seven aces and one dig for Dolgeville; Courtney Normoyle had four kills, three aces, four assists and four digs; Emily Krasko had four aces and two digs; Emilie Bode had four digs and an ace; Katie Millard had two aces, two kills, one assist and two digs; Cheyanne Sullivan had two digs, one ace and one kill; Kaylee Brandow had one ace, one kill and one dig; Camila Rios had two kills and one dig; and Brandy Pelan had two digs and one kill. Samantha Dewan had three kills and one ace for Little Falls; Lauren Shepardson and Samantha Ackerman each had two assists and two digs; Faith Randall had two kills; Kali Yerina had one kill; and Brittany Levellie served one ace.
