HERKIMER 3, LITTLE FALLS 2
The Herkimer Magicians emerged as winners Wednesday after five games against the Little Falls Mounties.
The Magicians dropped the opening game on the road but came back to win 18-25, 27-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-18.
Caitlin Roorda had 10 kills, two aces, one assist and eight digs for Herkimer (5-10, 2-5 CSC-II); Jami Peters had eight assists and six digs; Krista Green had four kills, one ace, one assist and five digs; and Emily Guzewich had five kills, two blocks and six digs.
Kaleigh Warn had 16 kills and four aces for Little Falls (5-11, 3-5 CSC-II); Tess Krowicki served five aces with six kills, one assist and five digs; Erin Noyes served a career-high seven aces with eight assists and two digs; Liz Bruins had seven kills and two aces; Diana Torres had 10 assists, one ace and two digs; Laura Krowicki had four aces, one kill and two digs; Kyrah Jackson had three blocks and two aces; Paige Horender had two kills, one ace and six digs; and Kourtney Moser had two kills and two digs. Jackson’s three blocks were the most this season for a Mountie player.
Herkimer was 25-19, 25-15 winner in two games in junior varsity play. Faith Randall served two aces for Little Falls; Lauren Shepardson had two assists; Samantha Ackerman had an assist and two digs; Kali Yerina had an ace and two digs; Courtney Liddon and Paige Morris had two digs; and Samantha Dewan, Brittany Levellie and Rebecca Swart each had one kill.
Little Falls’ next match is Friday against Ilion
FRANKFORT-SCHUYLER 3, MOHAWK 1
MOHAWK, N.Y. — Frankfort-Schuyler won the first two games Wednesday and defeated the Mohawk Mohicans in four on the road.
The Maroon Knights won by scores of 25-22, 25-22, 18-25 and 25-14.
Alyssa Unsinn had nine kills, five aces and 13 digs for Frankfort-Schuyler (7-9, 4-4 CSC-II); Brittany Janis had seven kills, one block, three aces and two digs; Brianna Manzo had 14 digs; three aces four assists, three kills and one block; and Jamie Juliano had 15 assists, one ace, one kill and six digs.
Noel Newkirk had 11 assists, four aces, three kills and two blocks for Mohawk (5-10, 3-4 CSC-II); Megan Connor had six kills, two blocks and two aces; Cassidy Babcock had three digs, two assists, one ace, one kill and one block; and Marcia Holden had three kills.
Mohawk plays at home again Thursday against Herkimer.
WATERVILLE 3, MT. MARKHAM 2
WEST WINFIELD, N.Y. — The Mt. Markham rallied to tie Wednesday’s match after dropping the first two games but Waterville’s Indians pulled out a win in five.

Markham(11-5, 5-5 CSC-III); Brianna Wichowsky had 29 assists, three aces, two kills and 16 digs; Bridget Wilcox had 11 kills, three aces and 15 digs; Courtney Thompson had eight kills and one block; Samantha Kinne had three kills, two aces and 12 digs; Taylor Wool had three aces and 11 digs; Kaleigh Bryce had three kills, two assists, one ace and two digs; Megan Wool had 12 digs; and Olivia Thomson had six digs.
Mt. Markham won the junior varsity match in three games.
CLINTON 3, ILION 1
ILION, N.Y. — The Clinton Warriors defeated Ilion in four games on the road Wednesday.
After splitting the fiurst two games, the Warriors emerged as 25-12, 21-25, 25-18, 25-16 victors.
Jordan Provost had 10 kills and one dig for Clinton; Samantha Malak had eight assists, four aces, two kills and eight digs; Rachel Evans had 17 digs, four assists and two aces; and Maggie Billiter put down eight kills.
Kacey Visser had six kills, two aces, an assist and two digs for Ilion; Shelby Callaghan served five aces with three kills and one dig; Nickee Thibault had five assists, one kill and one dig; and Cayla Carrillo served three aces and had nine digs, one kill and one assist.
Ilion is scheduled to play the second half of a home-and-home series Friday against Sherburne-Earlville.
ADIRONDACK 3, HOLLAND PATENT 0
BOONVILLE, N.Y. — The Adirondack Wildcats swept Wednesday’s match with Holland Patent, winning by scores of 25-13, 26-24 and 25-20.
Katarina Candee had 15 kills, one block, three aces and two digs for Adirondack (13-2, 8-2 CSC-I); Amber Case had 18 assists, two aces, one kill and five digs; Elizabeth Riegler had seven kills, an ace and six digs; and Kylie Kaiding had six kills, four aces and 10 digs.
Jessica Pinto had seven blocks and three kills for Holland Patent (10-7, 5-5 CSC-I); Katlynn Savage had eight assists, two aces and three digs; Jade Bradham had 10 digs, two aces and one kill; and Michelle Smith had three kills and four blocks.
Holland Patent was a 2-1 junior varsity winner.
COOPERSTOWN 3, SAUQUOIT VALLEY 1
SAUQUOIT, N.Y. — The Cooperstown Redskins were 3-1 winners at Sauquoit Valley Wednesday.
The Redskins won the first two games en route to a 25-14, 25-20, 20-25, 25-19 victory.
Katie Booan had 29 assists and two kills for Cooperstown; Caroline Leonard had 14 kills; Brooke Liner had six kills, two blocks, three aces and two assists; and Christina Grigoli had six kills.
Gemma Blanks had 10 kills for Sauquoit Valley: Ella Brutsky had five kills, three aces and nine digs; Kassidy Hasselman had 15 assists; Carli Bartlett had 20 digs and two aces; and Lindsey Eisinger had nine digs.
