WEST WINFIELD, N.Y. — Mt. Markham’s undefeated Mustangs swept three games from Little Falls Tuesday and made it two-for-two against the Mounties this season.
The Mustangs (12-0) had beaten Little Falls in four games on the road to open the season., Playing at home Tuesday they won by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-23.
Alex Wrobel had 10 kills, a block and seven digs for the Mustangs; Dan Roberts had six kills, a block, an assist, two aces and 16 digs; Brian Gurtowski had five kills, a block, two assists, an ace and 23 digs; Zach O’Sullivan had eight blocks, three kills, an assist and 15 digs; and Taylor Davis had 11 assists, seven digs and four blocks.
Alex Blumberg had 13 assists for Little Falls (6-3, 4-3 CSC); Dylan Krowicki had 12 kills, three blocks, nine assists and 12 digs; Zach Martin had five kills, three blocks and seven digs; and Alan Sadlon had four kills and 11 digs.
Mt. Markham was a 2-0 winner in the junior varsity match.
The Mounties play on the road for the fourth time in seven days Thursday when they travel to Canastota. Mt. Markham is off until Monday when the Mustangs play at Herkimer.
