NEWPORT, N.Y. — The West Canada Valley Indians scored five runs in the sixth inning Monday and pulled out a 10-7 victory against Hamilton’s Emerald Knights.

The Indians had already come back from a 4-0 deficit and were tied at 5 entering the sixth. Hamilton put together a rally of its own in the top of the seventh. The Emerald Knights had four consecutive two-out singles and brought the tying run to the plate before DeKalb retired Don Philhower on a pop-up to first base to end the game.

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. — Matt Rotundo had a five-hit, five-RBI performance at the plate for Frankfort-Schuyler Monday in the Maroon Knights’ 11-7 win over the Dolgeville Blue Devils.

Paul Barnes had three hits, including a triple, for Dolgeville (1-9, 1-5 CSC-I).
