ILION 82, LITTLE FALLS 59

ILION, N.Y. — The Ilion Golden Bombers remain unbeaten in dual meets following Thursday’s 82-59 win over defending Center State Conference Division I champion Little Falls.

The Golden Bombers won all but two of the track events. Andrea Szewczyk won the 800-, 1,500- and 3,000-meter runs, Brandy Watkins won the 400, Sharon Howell took both hurdling events and all three Ilion relays were winners. Watkins had the team’s only field event win in the triple jump.

Bryanne Perlanski and Allison Dobrovolc were triple winners for Little Falls. Perlanski won the 100- and 200-meter dashes and the long jump; Dobrovolc placed first in the high jump, shot put and discus. Alicia Wainwright contributed to the Mounties’ strong showing in the field events with a win in the pole vault.

Little Falls finishes its dual meet schedule at home Wednesday with a meet against Dolgeville. Ilion has meets Monday against Frankfort-Schuyler and Wednesday against Mohawk.

ADIRONDACK 96, DOLGEVILLE 44

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. — Seven Wildcats won individual events Thursday in Adirondack’s 96-44 victory over the Dolgeville Blue Devils.

Angela Stoots and Naomi Adkins were double winners for the Wildcats with Adkins winning both throwing events and Stoots winning the 100-meter dash and the pole vault.

Chelsie Petras pulled off a double for Dolgeville, winning the 400-meter hurdles and the high jump. Kaitlyn Lyon (800 meters), Sarah Reardon (1,500) and Sandtana Cool gave Dolgeville winners in the three longest individual races and the team of Petras, Amanda Saracino, Kristin West and Lexie Dineen won the four-by-400-meter relay.

The Blue Devils’ final dual meet is Wednesday at Little Falls.
