LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — Alaina Demeree pitched a five-hit shutout for Little Falls Saturday in the Mounties’ 15-0 win over St. Johnsville’s Saints.

Demeree struck out four batters and walked one while receiving plenty of offensive support from her teammates. The Mounties rapped 20 hits to surpass their previous high of 18 against St. Johnsville one week earlier.

Sue Schoff singled, tripled and homered for Little Falls (8-4), drove in three runs and scored three times. Lizzy Demeree had two singles and two doubles and reached base on an error in her other at-bat; she also drove in four runs and scored two. Alaina Demeree added three hits and three runs batted in; Courtney Terzi had two triples, two runs batted in and two runs scored; Sara Helmer singled three times; and Katie Cotton had two hits and drove in a run.

Alyzia Madsen singled and doubled for St. Johnsville.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Little Falls which travels to Boonville Monday for a game at Adirondack.
