Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and athletics.
Football gives you the opportunity to form a close brotherhood with your teammates that lasts forever. It challenges you every time you step on the field, both physically and mentally. Playing football along with any other sport lets you become a better person and learn life lessons.
What is your most memorable athletic moment?
My most memorable athletic moment was playing for the sectional title in the Carrier Dome. It was exhilarating to just walk out onto the field and prepare in the same locker room as Syracuse and all the other universities that play there.
Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.
Eric LeGrand of Rutgers University inspires me to work as hard as I can everyday and take nothing for granted. He was paralyzed during a football game and had his abilities taken from him. His story shows me, and hopefully others, that we need to do all that we can, while we can, and live with no regrets.
What are your greatest challenges balancing academics and sports?
The greatest challenge is definitely being able to study and do homework during the season. Some nights you won't get home until 9 or so and you still have to get all of your school work taken care of. Time management is very important during the season.
What are your plans after graduating from high school?
After high school I plan on attending college and playing football and majoring in criminal justice.
