LITTLE FALLS 70, VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 43
Lucas Godlewski led Little Falls with 18 points Thursday and the Mounties defeated the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils 70-43 in the rescheduled consolation game from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill’s Christmas tournament.
The Mounties (6-5) outscored the Reed Devils in all four quarters. Tyler Baumeister scored 11 points and hit three of the eight Little Falls three-pointers. Jesse Lonis added 10 points, Jordan Day scored nine and Mitchell Baumeister had seven.
Dalton Cousin and Matt McCoy led Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (1-10) with eight points each.
The championship game was played as scheduled Dec. 29 and Clinton defeated Holland Patent 64-60. Holland Patent had beaten Little Falls 62-43 in the opening round the previous day.
