The Little Falls Mounties took three straight games from Herkimer Thursday, defeating the Magicians 25-12, 25-11, 25-12.

Mat Armlin had 14 kills, six aces and one assist for Little Falls (3-2); Vinny Visconti had six assists and two kills; Kyle Barnes had seven assists and one ace; and Mike Izzo had four aces and one kill.

Chris Burns had five kills, three blocks, one assist and six digs for Herkimer (0-3); Colin Acker had seven assists, one kill and five digs; Zack Rosenberger had four kills, two assists and seven digs; and Michael Stalteri had five digs and three assists.

MT. MARKHAM 3, CANASTOTA 1

WEST WINFIELD, N.Y. — Mt. Markham kept its record perfect through six matches with a 3-1 win Thursday over the Canastota Raiders.

The Mustangs won at home by scores 25-16, 22-25, 25-10 and 25-13.

Warren Salo had 14 kills, one ace and 10 digs for Mt. Markham (6-0); Travis Beach had 20 assists, four kills, one ace. four kills, one block and 11 digs; Matt Bleaking had 15 assists, four kills, one block, one ace and 10 digs; Ben Gurtowski had eight kills, six blocks, one ace and 10 digs; Josh Urtz had five kills and five digs; and Zach Brown had three kills and two blocks.

Avery Brennen had 12 kills, one ace, one assist and nine digs for Canastota (2-3); Brandon Pickard had 14 assists, 10 digs, an ace and a kill; Josh Whaley had six kills and four digs; Connor Hanauer had six assists, three kills, one block and two  digs; Elijah Carey had three kills, a block and six digs; Michael McDermott had four digs, a kill and a block; and Deshawn Joyner recorded one dig.

Mt. Markham was a 3-0 junior varsity winner.
