HERKIMER, N.Y. —
The Herkimer Hornets Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading Association held its first captain and crew golf tournament June 16 at Holland Heights in Herkimer.
The tournament winners were Mike Marusic, Jim Columb, Ted Sidelko and Don Macrina. The longest drive was struck by Mike Murphy and closest to the pin was Columb (21 inches).
The Hornets Association was supported by donations from the following businesses and sponsors : Fat Cats, CTM, Paesano’s Pizzaria, Central Paving Inc., Steet Ponte Chevrolet, George Lumber, Herkimer Sears, Bruce Ward & Co., Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler, Shear Pleasure, Fuccillo Auto Plex, All Events Engraving, Todd D.
