CANASTOTA 13, SHERBURNE-EARLVILLE 6
Zack Zupan ran for 101 yards Saturday night and threw a touchdown pass on a halfback option play in the undefeated Canastota Raiders’ 13-6 win over the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders.
The Raiders (5-0, 5-0 C South) led 7-0 at halftime on an 81-yard touchdown pass from Zupan to John Halsey. Sherburne-Earlville (3-2, 2-2 C South) scored on a pass play of its own in the third quarter but missed the extra point and Canastota maintained a one-point lead until quarterback Anthony Mason ran for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The win completes an undefeated run through Class C South for the Raiders who finish the regular season Friday with a trip to Weedsport.
