LITTLE FALLS 3, HERKIMER 0

The Little Falls Mounties reached the .500 mark Tuesday when they swept three games from Herkimer for their third consecutive victory.

The Mounties (3-3, 3-2 CSC) won by scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-17 on their home court.

Michael Stehnach had 12 assists, six aces, a kill and two digs for Little Falls; Mat Armlin had six kills, two assists, an ace and eight digs; Jack Sekel had six kills, an ace, two assists and 10 digs; Mitchell Lamb had gad six kills and a dig; Mike Izzo had 10 digs; Max Bumsted had four kills and six digs; Patrick Leonard had eight digs and three aces; Nick Postal had eight assists and seven digs; Sebastian Puznowski had an ace and two digs; and Andreas Schueba had two digs.

Herkimer’s record is 0-5 both overall and in the Center State Conference.

Little Falls was a 2-1 junior varsity winner.

Little Falls’ next match is Monday at home against Ilion. The Magicians were home Wednesday for a match against Mt. Markham.

WESTMORELAND 3, ILION 0

WESTMORELAND, N.Y. — The Westmoreland Bulldogs dominated the first two games Tuesday on the way to a 3-0 sweep of the Ilion Golden Bombers.

The Bulldogs were 25-5, 25-9, 25-21 winners against the winless Golden Bombers.

Tyler Barnes had four aces, a kill and an assist for Westmoreland (5-3, 4-2 CSC); James Marchesani had five assists and a kill; Tyler Crandall had three aces, a kill and a dig; and Jake Landry had four assists and two kills.

There was no junior varsity match.

Ilion plays at home Thursday against Sauquoit Valley.

SAUQUOIT VALLEY 3, CANASTOTA 1

SAUQUOIT, N.Y. — The Sauquoit Valley Indians dropped one game at home Tuesday but won the next to close out a 3-1 win against Canastota.

The Indians won by scores of 25-13, 28-26, 17-25 and 25-17.

Zach Wakefield had six kills, three blocks, 15 assists and three digs for Sauquoit Valley (5-1, 5-1 CSC); Nick DelBuono had three kills and eight digs; Emerson Roberts had 12 assists and two digs; and Harley Wright had five kills, a block, an ace and 11 digs.

Kyle LaMier had 21 assists and 12 digs for Canastota (2-6, 2-4 CSC); Ryan Pedersen had eight kills, five blocks and two assists; Jacob Meade had eight kills, an ace and nine digs; Jason Quaglia had seven kills, two blocks and nine digs.

Sauquoit Valley was a 2-0 junior varsity winner.
