The Poland Tornadoes turned a double play to end Wednesday’s game against Westmoreland and preserved a 10-9 victory over the Bulldogs.
Poland scored a run in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a 9-all tie. The Bulldogs had runners at second and third with one out in the top of the seventh when they hit into a double play to end the game.
Lexi Darrow had a triple and a duble among the 10 hits for Poland.
