OPPENHEIM-EPHRATAH 3, BROOKFIELD 2

The Oppenheim-Ephratah Hawks let a 2-0 lead slip away Friday before beating Brookfield in five games on the road.

The Hawks rebounded for a 25-17, 25-18, 23-25, 21-25, 25-19 victory over the Beavers.

Leann Knapp had 13 kills, two blocks and five digs for Oppenheim-Ephratah (5-9); Ashley Hill had 24 assists, one ace and seven digs; Kayleigh Hayner served eight aces with 12 digs; and Katie Pabis had 12 digs and three kills.

Breanna Rogers had seven kills, one block and three aces for Brookfield (3-13); Aly Worden had 15 assists, five kills and two aces; Jasmin Maine had seven aces and three kills; Brooke Terrier had six aces and eight assists; Cassie Head had nine kills; and Cassandra Rogers had four kills.

Oppenheim-Ephratah had a match postponed Monday against Remsen. The Hawks play at home Wednesday against Old Forge.

MOHAWK 3, WATERVILLE 0

MOHAWK, N.Y. — The Mohawk Mohicans were 3-0 winners at home Friday against Waterville.

The Mohicans won the Center State Conference crossover match by scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-22.

Krista Couchman served six aces for Mohawk (5-9); Noel Newkirk had three assists, two aces, two kills and two digs; and Megan Connor had two blocks, one kill and one ace.

Alexis Stetson had seven kills, one block, two aces and 10 digs for Waterville (9-6); Michelle Kelly had six assists, three  aces and six digs; Alicia Barnes had four kills, one block, one assist and two digs; and Miranda Stockbridge had four kills, one block, one assist and seven digs.

Mohawk plays at home Monday against Herkimer.
