LITTLE FALLS 3, CLINTON 0

The Little Falls Mounties swept Clinton Thursday, defeating the Warriors 25-21, 25-23, 25-17.

Laura Krowicki had 12 kills and three aces for Little Falls (5-9); Kaleigh Warn had eight kills and three digs; Tess Krowicki had had six kills, one ace and five digs; Diana Torres had 13 assists; Erin Noyes had seven assists and two aces; Liz Bruins had two kills and an assist; Paige Horender served four aces with five digs; Kyrah Jackson served one ace; and Kourtney Moser had one kill.

Samantha Malak had two aces, three assists and five digs for Clinton; Maggie Billiter had five kills; Sophia Atik served three aces; and Rachel Evans had 11 digs.

Clinton took the junior varsity match in  three games, winning 20-25, 25-12, 25-14. Lauren Shepardson had three aces and three assists for Little Falls; Samantha Ackerman had one kill and one assist; Samantha Dewan had one ace and one kill; Kali Yerina had two aces, two kills and three digs; Courtney Liddon had three aces, two kills, an assist and two digs; Faith Randall had two kills and one ace; Brooke Walrath had two aces and two kills; Christina Deschene had one kill and one assist; Emlyn Parker had three aces, one kill and two assists; Winter Polnak served two aces; and Rebecca Swart served one ace.

The Mounties played at home again Friday against Owen D. Young. They play at Dolgeville Monday.

HERKIMER 3, ILION 1

ILION, N.Y. — The Herkimer Magicians took a 2-0 lead on the road Thursday and defeated Ilion 3-1.

The Magicians defeated the Golden Bombers 25-22, 25-19, 16-25, 25-17 in the Center State Conference crossover contest.

Caitlin Roorda had six kills, one block, seven digs, one assist and a pair of aces for Herkimer (4-9); Jami Peters had seven assists, six digs, a kill and an ace; Kyria Plunkett had two kills, two aces and six digs; and Emily Guzewich had four kills and five digs.

Kacey Visser had 13 kills, a block, six aces and one assist for Ilion (0-11); Nickee Thibault had six assists, three aces and one kill; Mackenzie Vitale had five assists, one kill and one dig; and Cayla Carrillo had two aces, one kill and one dig.

Both teams are entered in Frankfort-Schuyler’s tournament Saturday.

ADIRONDACK 3, REMSEN 1

REMSEN, N.Y. — Adirondack defeated the Remsen Rams 25-13, 25-14, 17-25, 25-7 in four games Thursday.

Katarina Candee had eight kills, four aces and seven digs for Adirondack (11-2); Emily Coscomb had six kills, one block and three digs; Elizabeth Sears had 12 assists, one kill, one ace and five digs; and Amber Case had 11 assists, four aces, one kill and four digs.

Melanie Carlson had six kills, one block and five digs for Remsen (7-6); Hailey Paddock had one ace and one kill; Morgan Shew had four aces, one block, one kill and two digs; and Megan Will had eight digs, two kills and one ace.
