The Mt. Markham Mustangs ran their record to 4-0 Saturday with a 3-0 win over Westmoreland’s Bulldogs.
The undefeated Mustangs won by scores of 25-20, 25-17 and 25-15.
Travis Beach had 20 assists, four blocks, six kills, two aces and nine digs for Mt. Markham (4-0); Ben Gurtowski had seven kills, three blocks, one ace and 12 digs; Jarod Hubbard had five blocks, one kill, one assist and one dig; Matt Bleaking had 10 assists, six kills, two blocks and five digs; Warren Salo had seven kills, one ace and 15 digs; Mike Gras had six kills, one ace and 10 digs; Zach Brown had two kills and one block; and Casey Jennison had three digs.
Jake Landry had nine kills, four assists and one dig for Westmoreland (0-3); James Marchesani had 13 assists; Andrew Murphy had 15 digs; and Ryan Bowers had three kills, one block and three digs.
The junior varsity match produced a 2-0 Mt. Markham victory.
Both teams play on the road Tuesday, the Mustangs at Herkimer and Westmoreland in Ilion.
