Herkimer County Community College’s Charlie Anderson has been named Region III Male Athlete of the Week
The sophomore physical education major from Southampton, England, scored two goals in the Generals’ season-opening win against Bunker Hill Community College. He had the game-winner the next day as Herkimer defeated County College of Morris 1-0 in double overtime. Anderson then scored two goals in a 5-0 win over Hudson Valley Community College and another in a 6-0 win over Clinton Community College as the NJCAA’s No. 1-ranked Division III team and defending national champion got off to a 4-0-0 start.
