Austin C. (Tiny) Miller, 80, of the Town of Manheim, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012.

He was born August 24, 1931, in the Town of Salisbury, the son of the late Austin & Pearl (Moore) Miller and was educated in Dolgeville schools.

His marriage to Phyllis Nichols took place on November 14, 1953, in Dolgeville.

Mr. Miller was a United States Marine Corps veteran enlisting on March 18, 1952, and was honorably discharged on March 17, 1954, with the rank of Corporal.

Austin was last employed at Little Falls Post Office, where he held the position of Supervisor of Postal Operations, retiring in 1991.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; a son, Craig Miller, of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Ashley & Makayla Miller; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In keeping with Tiny’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Vincent A.
