Mrs. Sandra L. Charbonneau, age 69, of Gloversville, died Tuesday evening, July 20, 2010, at her home, following a long illness.
She was born November 4, 1940, in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Benjamin Locatelli. She was employed at Crescendo Glove Company, Baronet-Litho Company as a floor-lady for many years, Halo Optical and at Hawkins Fabrics. She also was a licensed cosmetologist.
Sandy was a member of the Gloversville Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her husband, Claude Charbonneau, of Gloversville; two children, Robin M. Charbonneau (Gregory McCarthy), of St. Johnsville, and Rick Charbonneau (Kathryn), of Gloversville; a brother, Carl Locatelli (Vicky), of Gloversville; three grandsons, Nicolas Rosmarino, Eric Charbonneau and Alex Charbonneau; two nieces and a nephew.
A private funeral service will take place at the convenience of the family at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville, with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
