Born 12/20/1918 in St. Johnsville, NY, to Carlo and Leonina Cochi - passed away on 10/20/2012 in Webster, NY. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Winifred; and his son, Robbie. Survivors include his children, Steve (Jane) Skvarich, Joanne, Chris (Laura) and Carla (Leon) Penazek; grandchildren, Shea and Bradley Cochi, Julie (Ed) Kusher, and John (Linda) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon; a sister, Laura Fontana; a brother, Carl Cochi; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and good friend, Bette Newell.

Oscar served in WW II as a Captain in the Air Force stationed in India. He was a graduate of St. Lawrence University and is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a longtime teacher, coach and administrator in the Webster School District.

Friends may call Tuesday, 4-7 PM, at the Anthony Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1031 Ridge Road, Webster, NY 14580. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:15 AM, at Holy Spirit Church, 1355 Hatch Road, Webster. Interment at St. Johnsville, NY.
