Miss S. Carol Bogden, 88, of 105 Protection Ave., Herkimer, passed away on Monday morning, June 30, 2008, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica.
She was born in Binghamton on March 20, 1920, daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Gabran) Bogden, and was educated in Little Falls schools. She was last employed as an accountant with the Lloyd Corporation, Beverly Hills, Calif. She attended Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer.
Survivors include a brother, Stanley Bogden and wife, Audrey, of Fayetville, NC; a sister, Catherine Cornelius of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Josephine Myszkowski and Stephanie Eicheliberg.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there are no formal calling hours of funeral service. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer.
