Suzanne Wilson, 91, formerly of 135 Prospect St., Little Falls, and since 2002 a resident of Van Allen Nursing Home, Little Falls, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at that residence.
She was born on May 14, 1917, in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Turgla) Talaba. She was educated in Little Falls High School. She was united in marriage to her husband of 55 years, Carlyle C. Wilson, on May 26, 1934, at the United Methodist Church, Little Falls. Mr. Wilson predeceased her on December 28, 1989.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter, Jeanne A. Wilson, of Little Falls; her daughter-in-law, Antoinette (Toshie) Wilson, of Delaware; her brother, Paul Talaba and his wife, Mary, of Little Falls; five grandchildren, Scott and Lance VanSlyke, Jody Earle and Richard and Gary Wilson; seven great-grandchildren, John and Thomas VanSlyke, Samantha, Jillian and Michael Earle, Haley Wilson and Danielle Baker; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert C. Wilson, on November 6, 1990, and by two sisters, Ann Harrington and Catherine Adasek.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann St., Little Falls, with the Rev. Michael Jones, interim pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls, officiating. Interment will take place in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Wilson be considered to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 512 E. Gansevoort St., Little Falls, NY, 13365. Envelopes are also available at the funeral home for this purpose.
