Phoebe Pysz Sivak, of Liverpool, New York. Beloved wife of John W. Sivak, Jr. Mother of John W. (Karen) Sivak III, Susan S. (Walter) Hadala, and the late Stephen Michael Sivak. Grandmother of W. Stephen (Diane) Hadala, and Seth W. Hadala. Sister of the late Anna Reynolds and the late Mary Piatek. Also survived by two great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

Born February 23, 1926, in Richfield Springs, New York. Died June 24, 2012, after a long illness.

A longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liverpool, she was active in a variety of community service activities. Throughout her life, Phoebe was devoted to helping others; a longtime leader in Girl Scouting, YMCA Volunteer, City Mission Volunteer, and Board Member of Clinton Homes to name a few.

An avid gardener, Phoebe loved to create, whether it was in her gardens or with sewing projects, quilts, and painting. Phoebe will be missed by those she loves and who dearly love her.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, East Monroe Street, Little Falls, New York, on June 30, 2012, at 2 p.m.  Friends are also invited to attend a Memorial Service Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 2 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel Street, Liverpool, New York 13088. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St Paul's Lutheran Church Omega Fund.
