Virginia Ann Riggleman Stalnaker, of Montgomery, Texas, age 89, a resident of Montgomery, Texas, passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 4, 2012 at the Conroe Regional Hospital at Conroe, Texas.
She was born Dec. 14, 1922 at Monterville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Calvin Cecil Riggleman and the late Lettie Effie Hogan Riggleman. On March 28, 1946, at Elkins, W.Va., she was married to Virgil Lambert Stalnaker, who preceded her in death on April 28, 1995. She is survived by one son, James Andrew Stalnaker and wife, Patty, of Fairport, and one daughter, Barbara Ann Stalnaker Lundeen, of Montgomery, Texas. She worked for many years for the Snyder Manufacturing Company prior to her retirement.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012,. at the Tomblyn Funeral Home, 45 Randolph Ave., Elkins, W.Va. Iinterment will follow in the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery near Elkins. Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Hospice, 1600 Crim Ave., Belington, WV 26250.
