Richard G. Cook, 59, of State Route 167, Little Falls, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on July 18, 1953, in Little Falls, the son of Robert F. and Violet (Vincent) Cook. He received his education at St. Mary’s Academy and was a graduate of Little Falls High School.
Mr. Cook was a self-employed logger, operating Rich Cook Logging, of Little Falls, for the past 30 years.
He was a member of the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club.
A loving son, father, grandfather and close friend to many, he is survived by his mother, Violet, of Little Falls; his son, Richard J. Cook and his fiancee, Rebecca Herron, of Little Falls; his daughter, Jennifer Cool and her husband, Jamie, of Stratford; his former wife, Patsy Cook, of Fort Plain; brother, Robert J. Cook and his wife, Stephanie, of Little Falls; five grandchildren, Owen Cook, Abigale Watson, Olivia Cook, Jamie M. Cool and Jayden E. Cool; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his dear friend, Moe, of Dolgeville. He was predeceased by his father, Robert F. Cook, on Dec. 27, 2007; his brother, Ron C. Cook, on Jan. 27, 2007; and by his nephew, Robert S. Cook, on Dec. 1, 2007.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann St., Little Falls, on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Rural Park Cemetery, Ingham Mills.
Arrangements are by Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann St., Little Falls.
