DANSVILLE, N.Y. —
Dorothy Ryan, July 27, 2012, age 93, at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard "Bucky" Ryan. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ryan Watson of Geneseo, NY, and Sandra Ryan Coleman of Dansville, NY.
Dorothy was a native of Little Falls and called Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Dansville, NY, home as well. Dorothy contributed her energy and powers of organization to the Little Falls WCA, Hospital Guild, The First Presbyterian Church and the Girl Scouts of America. She continued to be of service, volunteering for many programs at the First Presbyterian Church of Ft. Lauderdale, and was a valued member of the choir.
There will be no prior calling hours. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends wishing to honor Dorothy's memory may make memorial contributions to the Livingston County Hospice Program, 2 Murray Hill, Mt. Morris, NY 14510. Arrangements by Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Dansville.
