HERKIMER, N.Y. —
Celia Mary Thomas, 48, of Herkimer, went to eternal rest on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY.
She was born September 2, 1963, in Little Falls, the daughter of Marion (Trimm) Thomas and the late Lyle Thomas. Celia was a graduate of Little Falls High School and furthered her education at Herkimer County Community College.
She was last employed at the Folts Home in Herkimer, NY, as a nurse's aid.
Survivors include her mother, Marion, of Little Falls; a daughter, Gloria Thomas, of Albany, NY; two sisters, Connie Pelzer and husband, Ron, of Little Falls, and Carol Reinson and husband, Kurt, of Scranton, PA; a brother, Paul Thomas and wife, Heidi, of Little Falls; nieces and nephews, Holly Pelzer, Scott Pelzer and wife, Jessie, Trevor Thomas, Jordan Thomas and Rachel Thomas; great niece and nephew, Jasmine and Kenneth Pelzer; several cousins; a beloved friend, Merrill Holtz, of Herkimer; and friends, Linda and Kelly.
She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Thomas, and a nephew, James Kohan.
In keeping with Celia's wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Her final arrangements have been entrusted to the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, 329 South Washington St., Herkimer, NY, 866-1500.
