There will be an informational picket on March 4 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Butterfield Station Post Office in downtown Utica to show opposition to the U.S. Postal Service plan to close the Utica Processing and Distribution Facility.
There will be a public hearing scheduled in the coming months at which time Central New York residents can voice their concerns and obtain information on this plan.
Organizers said residents of Central New York are invited to join pickets on March 4 to show their support for keeping this facility and 120 jobs in the region.
