Oppenheim, N.Y. -

The public hearing on the Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School District’s proposed $1,034,000 capital project will be held tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in the school’s technology room.
District residents will be asked to vote on three propositions — one, to pay for removal of three underground fuel tanks and remediate the soil in the area; two, to purchase a water reclamation system for the bus garage; and three, for site work in front of the school — on Dec. 2.
Propositions two and three are not stand alone items. If work called for under either or both these propositions is to be undertaken, voters must approve either or both propositions and proposition one. Even if all three propositions are approved, there will be no local property tax impact.
