The Time Warner Cable office at 150 Central Ave. in the village of Ilion will close its doors on Jan. 25.
For future account payments and equipment returns customers can visit the Utica cable store at 1000 Firehouse Road.
Time Warner Cable Central New York Communications Manager Stephanie Salanger said it was a business decision to close the store based on the amount of front desk traffic needs.
“After store traffic analysis was performed, findings show the majority of people who use the office use it only to pay a bill. Because of these findings, Time Warner Cable has decided to consolidate and close the Ilion office due to the variety of other payment options available,” said Salanger.
Kinney Drugs will accept payments at 40 First Street in Ilion. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Little Falls Kinney Drugs location at 530 Albany St. will also accept Time Warner Cable payments. Hours of operation at the Little Falls store are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kinney Drugs will not accept or exchange equipment.
Time Warner Cable offers 24/7 access at 866-321-CABLE to service customer needs. Mail options are available for exchanging and upgrading equipment, as well as online payment options at www.timewarnercable.com or through the Time Warner Cable automated phone system.
