In the news: Frank Ocean and Fun were among those to get six Grammy nominations Wednesday night at the Grammy Nominations Concert.  Dan Auerbach, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Mumford & Sons also picked up six nods. Check out the list of nominees for the 55th Grammy Awards here.

Happening today: Today is Saint Nicholas Day, a day when St. Nicholas traditionally leaves presents in children's shoes.

Opening bell: The Dow Jones opened at 13,034.49; it finished up 82.71 points Wednesday.

Middle school wrestler Justin Kievit has a big heart. His coach asked him to lose a match to a competitor from another school, Jared Stevens, who has cerebral palsy.
